Evan Green

Evan was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. Though he did not live there long, he has never forgotten his Scottish roots. When he was quite young, his family moved to Canada and then to the U.S. They moved to several States and as they made a home in each, he developed a curiosity for exploring. As an adult, Evan has found himself traveling the world and experiencing different cultures.At the age of 8, Evan performed in his school play, "Go West". It was from this first role, that he knew he wanted to be an actor. He caught 'the acting bug'. Throughout middle school and high school, Evan continued to perform in many plays and musicals. In high school, he joined The Thespian Society, where he was a tenor in the school's chorus.Since then, he has expanded on his acting knowledge and experience by completing a two year Meisner program at the Joanne Baron and DW Brown studio in Santa Monica, California, where he currently resides. He has recently begun training with the world renowned teacher, Peter Frisch, whose students include: Albert Brooks, Laura San Giacomo, Julianne Moore, Michael Chiklis, David Ogden Stiers, Denyce Graves, Keir Dullea, Susan Lucci, Michael Tucker, Jill Eikenberry, Orson Bean, Judith Light, Grant Shaud, Kim Hunter, Andrea McArdie, Elizabeth McGovern, Lolita Davidovich and many others.In the last year, Evan has lent his creative talent to two 48 hour film shorts, where he acted in and edited both.While acting is his main passion, Evan also has a passion for martial arts, where he has his black belt in Soo Bahk Do.
