Liz Blackett

A NZ citizen for 30 years, now residing in Australia. Liz Blackett is also a British citizen. She has the right to work in NZ and Australia, and the UK. Liz Blackett (nee Revill) was born in Nottingham in the United Kingdom. She attended Loreto Catholic Grammar School from 1961-1968 and went on to graduate in 1971 with BSc. Hons Computation from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. She was married in 1974 to a New Zealander and she and her husband lived in Nigeria, West Africa from 1975-1980, teaching mathematics at a girls secondary college. They then moved to Wellington, New Zealand in 1981. Liz has 3 children , born between 1979 and 1986. She was divorced in 1991. During her time in Wellington Liz revived her passion for Theatre and Film and studied at Victoria University Wellington in the Dept. of Theatre and Film. She also attended many workshops at Toi Whakaari and Wellington Performing Arts School. She moved to Christchurch New Zealand in 2007 and in 2012 moved to Brisbane Australia. Show less «
