The themes in her works address colonization, feminism(s), traumas, ancestral memorias, gender, health, race & ethnicity, immigration, sexuality, land & environment & issues affecting our two-spirit/ queer/ lesbian/ gay/ bisexual/ transgender / womyn of color / and people of color communities.
