April Campion

April Campion is a director, producer, photographer and writer of narrative films. Her award-winning creative direction can be seen in short films to commercials.Campion recently produce "Girls on the Run," a short film detailing the benefits of the all-girls enrichment program, which received the Award of Excellence: Children and Family Programming for the Accolade Awards.Other work includes, "So incredibly Beautiful," which was the Hillsong Australia Art and Film Festival Headline; Saint Mary's 5K Promo, which won the 2010 Student Emmy Blue Ribbon, ADDY Gold Award and the 2009 Otis Film Showcase Spotlight; and recently worked on the Captain Phillips film with Tom Hanks.Campion graduated from Regent University with a degree in Communications and was the first undergraduate in the school's history to produce on-time and under budget the student endowment film, which went on to be a 2009 National Finalist for the Student Academy Awards, El Captain Award, Accolade Award of Merit for Quality and Story, Redemptive Film Award and the 2009 Regent Showcase Selection.
