Ben Childs

An award-winning director, as well as a writer, producer and actor. Ben's New Zealand Film School graduation short, Birdsong (2013), set a new standard as the first graduation film to be selected for an overseas festival, and went on to win 'Best Foreign Film' at Indie Fest USA. Birdsong was also selected for Australia's Sandfly International Film Festival, Uni Shorts International Student Film Festival, and screened in New Zealand, Hollywood, Sydney and Bogota. Ben's follow-up The Space Trash Men (2015) is a Sci-Fi short film collaboration with design students from Massey University. Show less «
