Big

Vivian Mouvi, known as BIG, is a singer, composer, music producer, African activist and actor, who currently resides in Brazil. BIG is part of the duo Dois Africanos, alongside his Togo partner, Izy. Graduated in History, with specialization in pre and post-colonial period by UAC (Université d'Abomey Calavi), Big was born in a polygamous family of more than 10 children in the city of Cotonou (Benin), from a Beninese father and an immigrant mother, from Ghana. Son of textil merchants, his parents' wish was to see him one day run the family business, but he chose the world of arts (music and cinema). As he says: You have to know how to act in order to live in a polygamous family of more than 10 children. On this journey he lived in France (Montpellier) for 4 years and arrived in Brazil in 2012. In 2015, his work was recognized nationally in Brazil through a musical reality show "SuperStar" by Rede Globo. He did several soundtrack works for soap operas. Show less «
