Callison Slater

Callison Slater, born in Arlington, Virginia, now resides in Richmond, Virginia. Slater was awarded the Rosebud Film and Video Award and the 16 is to 9 Film Festival award for Best Animation. He has also been featured on the front page of Newgrounds twice since 2009, as well as being included in the "Best of December 2014" category. Slater's work utilizes the aesthetics and creative vibe of children's media and contemporary parody work with adult themes, in addition to commentary on life with mental illness. Slater has attended the Art Institute of Washington, Northern Virginia Community College, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
