Davey Johnson was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska, birthplace of Dick Cavett and Henry Fonda. At the age of nine, he was run over by a van, broke his leg, and spent a month and a half in the hospital, where he decided to stop pursuing sports and start a relationship with the stage. In 2002, Davey graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a BFA in Theater Performance and a minor in Japanese. Soon after, Davey moved to Los Angeles, California, where he has established himself as a frequent performer at alternative comedy venues (such as the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, the Steve Allen Theater, and the Comedy Central Stage) and as a commercial actor.
