Debbie Overbey was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 26th in the late 1950s. Debbie began her education in Hackensack New Jersey and Phoenix, Arizona. She attended colleges for advanced arts education in Phoenix & Tucson, Arizona (4 colleges/2 universities), Riverside, Californina (1 college/1 university), and attended classes at the Columbia School of Broadcasting. Debbie began private training in method, character and improv acting at the age of 8, instructed by her actor/father (aka actor, Grant Wells), along with 4 years of private voice lessons by a former member of Art Linkletter's cast. At the age of 9 she portrayed her first on stage role as Lucy in "Charlie Brown". He great love of the arts continues her education and instruction to this day.
