Dimitri Baveas (born June 29, 1988) is an Australian actor, best known for his roles as; "Dimitri" in the Dreamworks production The Ruins produced by Ben Stiller, and the killer in the Underbelly tele-movie, "Tell Them Lucifer Was Here" which aired in February 2011.Dimitri first began acting at the age of 15 when he was awarded a scholarship to the Australian Acting Academy out of over 1000 applicants. He then moved on to the Queensland Actors Playhouse and performed in several theatre productions. He also continued training with Emmy Award Winning casting director Tom McSweeney.Dimitri attended Anglican Church Grammar School, and has completed a degree in pharmacy from the University of Queensland.
