DJ Wael was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to a Saudi father and Saudi mother. His original name is Wail Balkhy. Most of his family are famous people in middle east like his uncle Abu-Baker Salem He spent his teenage years producing music in Houston, Texas and Los Angeles, California with his first official Remix released in 2014.
