Elizabeth Xu

Born in Shanghai, on January 24 1998, Elizabeth (Jing Yi) Xu moved to Australia in late 2004, first to Sydney, then to Adelaide in 2005, and has been residing in Brisbane since 2011. Throughout her childhood through to high school she had very little interaction with acting and film, and studied psychology in her first year of university at the University of Queensland. Since 2016, during a dark period in her life Elizabeth experimented with stand up comedy and acting, which eventually influenced her to transfer to the Queensland University of Technology to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, Television and New Media in 2017 and to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.She has been an extra in several films including Thor Ragnarok (2017) and has had a main role in 10 Grand (2017).
