Eric Michael Roy was born in New York City as Eric Michael Schneider. He took on the name Roy to honor the passing of his father and inspiration; photographer Roy Schneider. He is a film, TV, and stage actor, known for Hemingway & Gellhorn (2012), Law & Order SVU (2010-2011), Boardwalk Empire (2010) and the Broadway production of Jersey Boys (2007-2008).Eric is also an accomplished photographer and painter, with works printed in publications throughout the world.
