Esther Vlessing

Esther Vlessing is recognised in the Toronto acting scene for her powerhouse performances and fiery energy. A student of Lewis Baumander's and Armstrong Acting Studio's for several years, she now continues to further her craft through studies in the Meisner technique. Her performance career started as a competitive gymnast where she trained alongside Olympians at the Academy of Sport and Fitness (2004). From there she went on to perform with Characters Theatre Troupe (2006), and later joined Steppin' Out Productions (2010). She made her first debut as an on-screen actress in State of Syn (2013), and was cast in several commercials, most notably Crave TV's Superbowl 50 half-time commercial. While completing her degree at U of T, she performed at U of T's HartHouse Theatre (2012-2016). She completed her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Toronto (2016) and then attended Harvard University to study Economics.
