Evan Hengst

Evan Frederick Hengst is a young and upcoming actor based in Cape Town, South Africa. He grew up in the small town of Klerksdorp in the North West Province and attended a private Catholic school. He began acting in youth theatre productions throughout his schooling career and was a part of the Top 10 ATKV Tienertoeneel production Christmas Shopping (2012). He was also awarded Best Actor in the play Maskerade (2013) at the Tshwane Youth Arts Festival. At age 18 he made his first film debut in Reconnect (2015). He has also gone on to feature in series such as Killer Instinct with Chris Hansen (2016) and Blood Drive (2017). He studies at ACT Cape Town under the guidance of Grant Swanby and Nicola Hannekom.
