Garrett Leighton

Garrett is an actor on the rise in the East Coast region. He began acting in local theaters when he was nine and got a standing ovation for his role of Oliver in Oliver Twist. He began his film career as the stand-in for Tad Lincoln in Spielberg's Lincoln.That experience changed his life as he was able to meet Steven Spielberg and interact with many of Hollywood's favorites. Garrett can be seen in the background in four episodes of the first season of Turn; he particularly enjoyed being a pickpocket staged in New York City. He was in two student films for VCU and was in a short film as part of the Adrenaline Project in the Virginia Film Festival. There, he was congratulated by Katie Couric for a job well done. He has done educational projects, a t.v. pilot and a couple of commercials along the way. The experiences he has had on this journey have encouraged him to pursue his dream even further. Show less «
