Geraldine Smith, a native New Yorker, was discovered by Paul Morrissey and Andy Warhol at the age of 16, in Max's Kansas City. After starring opposite Joe Dallesandro in Flesh (1968), she turned down the film Trash (1970), disapproving of the title. A wonderful character actress, who has been underused commercially, she now studies psychology and is currently an alcohol and substance abuse counselor.
