Gunilla Ekroth

Gunilla Ekroth, born Kerstin Gunilla Andersson, 1945 in Halmstad, is a Swedish actress, exotic dancer and writer, best known as "Gunilla af Halmstad". She ended up in the world of entertainment by chance and poverty. Her stage debut was in a small variety show in 1962 as a nude statue. In 1964 the famous Swedish composer, conductor and TV-host caught her act in a night club in Malmö. The two became friends for life. "Gunilla af Halmstad" performed at cabarets and theatres through Europe, an appeared in couple of feature films during the 1970's.
