After earning a B.A in Political Science from the University of Washington in his hometown Seattle, Joe Fronk began his entertainment career in the mailroom at United Talent Agency in Beverly Hills. Promoted to assistant three months later, he spent the next two years working in various departments including MP (Motion Picture) Talent, MP Literary, and Business Affairs. In July of 2012 he left UTA for Chris Morgan Productions at Universal as the assistant to writer/producer Chris Morgan, his VP of Production, and Director of Development. In his time there CMP sold four pilots in its first season of TV development, with CMP/Imagine's Gang Related ordered to series for 20th Century Fox-in addition to FAST 6's $789M take at the Global Box Office. Joe worked on set in production for the entire first season of Gang Related before continuing on to work in production on notable films (Disney's THE JUNGLE BOOK, WB/New Line's ANNABELLE, Working Title/WB's WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS) and television series, totaling 29 episodes including "Masters of Sex" (SPTV/Showtime), "Sons of Anarchy" (Fox 21/FX), "Stalker" (WBTV/CBS) and "Kevin from Work" (ABC Family)Most recently, Fronk worked as the Coordinator of Original Programming at EPIX, joining the premium cable/streaming network in September 2015. Reporting to Head of Original Programming Jocelyn Diaz, Fronk played a key role in the network's entry into the scripted originals landscape, working in Original Series (Paramount TV's "Berlin Station, MGM's "Get Shorty", Lionsgate TV's "Graves") Documentaries (SERENA, THE 4%: Film's Gender Problem), Docu-Series ("America Divided"), and Live Events & Specials in Music & Comedy ("Tom Papa: Human Mule", "Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally's Summer of 69: No Apostrophe", "Wanda Sykes: What Happened Ms. Sykes?" The department's success contributed significantly to MGM's $1.3 Billion acquisition of the network in March 2017.In November of 2017, Fronk launched Island Park Entertainment, a Management and Production Company representing Writers, Directors, and Talent in Film, Television, and New Media.
