John Magennis Jr. is a reality television producer, professional speaker and entrepreneur. John was born and raised in Dedham, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, with his parents and four older sisters. As a teenager John was a successful teenage entrepreneur who founded and ran a technology company in the 1990's which landed him a nomination for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Years later John worked for two of the largest investment banks before eventually relocating to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in television. Since then, John has worked in all aspects of reality television production including development and casting as well as field and post production.
