Lauren Darlene

Lauren Darlene was born in Palo Alto, CA, and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Later in life, she moved to Atlanta, where she spent the most time developing her career in acting and music. Eventually, moving back to California to continue pursuing her passion in the entertainment industry.Lauren grew up around music at an early age. Her father produced music for MC Hammer and was a next-door neighbor to Rapper Kurtis Blow in Woodland Hills, CA. Being raised in Detroit, her mother put her in performing arts schools to keep her productive. Lauren auditioned and enrolled in theatrical programs doing plays and shows to work on her craft.Living in Atlanta, Lauren studied the acting industry being on many sets. That's where she began to look at things from a professional level watching A-List actors maneuver. Lauren took her career seriously and got into acting classes at LS Acting Studios in Atlanta, GA studying with Louis Stancil. In 2020 Lauren booked her first Series Regular role on a web series that is now streaming on Amazon Prime called "SELF the Series." Since then, Lauren booked a Co-Star role on the TV series Step Up on Starz Network.She has a company, "Not Afraid of Art LLC," to release content and projects. Show less «
