Louise Oliver

Louise trained as an actor in theatre, film and television at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and also holds a Masters Degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Glasgow. Theatre credits include Helena (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Thea Elvsted (Hedda Gabler), Angela (Abigail's Party), Lizzie Morrison (Men Should Weep), Van's Sister (Dog Sees God), Lindsay (Some Girl(s)), Janet Weiss (Rocky Horror Picture Show), Abigail Williams (The Crucible), Mhairi (Why Do You Always End Up Here), Grace (Girls Will Be Girls), Sarah (The Stag in December) Judith Cameron (Lazybed), Jo Cairo (The Faltese Malcon) and both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth (Macbeth - in separate productions, of course). Whilst living in New York, Louise worked with renowned companies such as The Wooster Group, The Tank Theatre and Theatre Resources Unlimited. Louise recently made the move to television by joining the cast of Sony Starz' Outlander, appearing as Prudence Forbes, in Season 4. Louise is the Associate Producer for live-arts production house Civil Disobedience, co-founder of the Persistent and Nasty project and co-Director / Producer of Scotland and New York based theatre company, Proof of Concept.
