Mark Newsome

Mark Newsome is a character actor from Oldham, Greater Manchester. Born and bred from a working class family, Mark's talent for acting was spotted as a teenager by a teacher at Oldham Theatre Workshop. He went on to train with the National Youth Theatre and then to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff, Wales. Mark is the star of the highly acclaimed one man show, Phil Pearson's, BLACKPOOL, WHAT A SHIT PLACE TO DIE which focuses on him coming to terms with his sexuality, autism and addiction issues. He plays Prisoner 'Streaky' in new Channel 4 drama, SCREW (Released early 2022) He is also a talented Stand Up Comedian.
