Michael Bender

Michael Bender received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from California State University Long Beach and later earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2007 from Mount Saint Mary's College. Dr. Bender's research, "The immediate and 1-week effects of mid-thoracic thrust manipulation on lower extremity passive range of motion" has been published in Physiotherapy: Theory and Practice. Michael began stepping in front of the camera in 2006 after building Star Wars costumes as a member of the 501st Legion. He has now been performing as an Imperial Stormtrooper for 13 years. Michael has been fortunate enough to portray his favorite character for numerous television shows, commercials and special events. Show less «
