Michael Blake Kruse

Michael Blake Kruse was born on May 19th in Camp Pendleton, California - the major West Coast base of the United States Marine Corps. He is the son of Melinda Kay (Purvis), a former executive secretary, and Michael Dean Kruse, a production manager. Both his mother, who is of Filipino descent, and his father, German, served in the Marines Corps and were honorably discharged shortly after Michael's birth. He has two younger brothers, Shane Marcus Kruse (b. 1992) and Colton Dean Kruse (b. 1998), as well as a younger sister, Kiersten Kae Kruse (b. 2002).Michael's interests throughout adolescence primarily lied in sports. From a young age, he participated competitively in baseball, football, wrestling, and track - finding success in all during his career at BCLUW High School of Conrad, Iowa. He went on to play baseball at Central College of Pella, Iowa, where he also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 2012. Shortly after graduation, Michael moved to Los Angeles to further his career in the entertainment industry.Since signing his first professional talent contract in 2010, he has booked over 30 commercials and has appeared in dozens of modeling campaigns for clients such as Coca-Cola, Reebok, Samsung, Apple, and more.Most notably, Michael is attached to the pilot "The Dead Girls Detective Agency" which is based on the successful HarperCollins book series written by Suzy Cox.
