Michael Lawson Jr.

Michael Lawson is a born and raised Omaha, Nebraska native. Performing was apart of his gene make-up, always feeling the need to entertain people. High School is where he fell back in love with acting after not pursuing it for years. He found a way to pursue both loves by participating in musicals and plays. His first love of singing has took him to many venues across the United States. Having a natural talent for singing, acting and dance, he's found himself in National Competitions.Securing a place in the Semi-Finals of American Idol Season 6, gave Michael that extra push to go after what he loves. Getting cut from American Idol turned his life around, on the airplane home he met a lady who saw in him something he hadn't, long story short she gave him a scholarship to compete in a competition in New York the summer of '07 called IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association). There he won Male Vocalist of the Year and various acting awards.
