Rick Courtney

Rick was born Richard K. Courtney in Newfoundland, Canada. He first appeared on camera in a high school production called Consumer Checkpoint which aired on a local community cable TV channel. He graduated from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, NS with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, Physiology and Criminology. He holds a Masters in Adult Education from Saint Francis Xavier University. Rick has appeared in a number of TV commercials, TV shows, Feature Films, Radio and Internet voice overs. Rick has worked both as an Actor, Voice Actor, Executive Producer, Producer, Director, Assistant Director, Locations Manager and Writer. He has appeared as the lead in Did He Do it? Poetic Justice for Discover ID Channel (2015) Mr D on CBC (2016), Titanic (1997), A Titanic Voyage (1998), Lexx the Dark Zone (1996 - Uncredited), Rohan Fernando's Fade to Black (2003), Time of Death (2015), Neurodiversity (2016). Currently, (2019-2020) Rick has just wrapped a feature film called Surface Tension as a leading actor and as the Executive Producer. Known as a serious method acting, Rick also has a hilarious comedic timing. Show less «
