Like most actors, Ryan Parks grew up on a Christmas tree farm in rural Oregon. Realizing that farming was only in his roots and not in his blood, he went looking for greener pastures. After running out of bad agriculture related puns, he took a job as river rafting guide in order to get his feet wet in another field. This led to some stunt work for a TV show, which led to a completely spontaneous decision to become an actor. So he packed up the car and launched himself into LA.He had a surprising amount of success for someone who put zero effort into maintaining a tough career path. He booked Several national commercials and a few lead roles in movies that made it into Blockbuster.(That used to be a big deal kids.)He also wrote and starred in an award winning short film (Made the the finals of Kevin Spacey's "Triggerstreet" film fest),But one day he woke up and realized he was 30 years old, and had nothing going for himself. This epiphany launched him onto a journey of uncomfortable self-discovery.The big realization was that he was the source of most of his own problems, Thankfully too stubborn to give in to the dysfunction, he set himself on the Warrior's path to recovery. While excruciating, this ultimately led to him becoming a world class Firesaber performer, and more importantly, a gifted addiction/PTSD recovery counselor. He's spent the last decade designing a program that makes your life feel like you are the star of an epic adventure video game. (In this game, you can actually get paid to hep upgrade the real world with your lightsaber skills. It's that good.)Which brings us to now. The best way to impart this information is via TV, film and the web.So he's now ready to re-enter the industry, only this time he's got upgrades. And some serious saber skills.www.kungflow.com Show less «
