Born in Philadelphia, PA, her family moved to a little town in Connecticut when she was three. The youngest of four children, she grew up loving to create and stage plays with her neighborhood friends. With her father, a CEO and President of a hospital and her mother a nurse and home-maker, becoming an actor wasn't something they wanted their daughter to pursue. They preferred her to have a stable life of a teacher or nurse or lawyer..., but not as an actor. She never gave up though and finally, took the leap of faith and moved to New York City around 2000.
