Saoirse Addison

Yorkshire born Saoirse first appeared on our screens on the run from the government in Type Rare at only 8 years old. Then selected by the BFI to play emerging talent in Let The Clock Chime On, she ballet danced her way straight into the role of Bethany in I Pull The Strings and into In The Stars where her dad made a cameo appearance. Landing her first lead role as Lucy in Away With The Fairies, she battled the wizard to lift the curse off the enchanted tree before playing geeky Michelle in Matt Zina's The Puppet then the fiercely independent Katy, caring for her mother suffering from debilitating Parkinson's disease in The Routine. We are soon to see Saoirse in another heartbreaking role, in Joanie a film about Alzheimers however Saoirse can currently be seen playing Izzy Jones in season 4 of BBC's The Worst Witch! Show less «
