Taya Seaton

Taya Seaton is a Canadian actor known for playing young Riley in Christmas on Holly Lane (2018).Taya grew up in Nanaimo BC on Vancouver Island and currently resides in Chilliwack BC, a city close to Vancouver. She moved from the island for a chance at more acting opportunities.Taya's love of music and performing was evident from a very young age. She was formally introduced to music and the stage at the age of five by her kindergarten teacher, Don Bamford. Mr. Bamford saw potential in Taya and encouraged her talent. He continued to mentor her throughout her junior years.Taya enjoys playing the guitar. Her high school teacher, David Geurtsen, has made a significant impact on Taya's confidence and desire to play. David is a passionate teacher and creator of the band, Modern Day Classics, of which Taya is the lead vocalist.In addition to school productions Taya performed on stage for Manda Chelmak at Headliners School of Performing Arts in Nanaimo BC. Productions included: Legally Blonde, Chicago and The Addams Family. She also performed the lead role, Sandy, in Grease.Taya was fortunate to be introduced to the film industry by Jacqui Kaese at Spotlight Academy in Nanaimo BC. Jacqui took Taya under her wing at the age of 14, accepting her into the Adult Film and Television class. Jacqui was an influential mentor through her support and encouragement. Taya's first on-set experience was as an extra for Hallmark's Chesapeake Shores (2016).Taya studied at Vancouver Young Actors School under Johannah Newmarch and is currently training with acting coach Jeb Beach at Jeb Beach & Associates in Vancouver BC.In Taya's spare time she enjoys photography and photo editing. She loves traveling and exploring new places. She looks forward to eventually living in the heart of Vancouver and continuing her acting career there.Taya is a passionate young woman who continually strives to improve herself. Show less «
