Known for her role as 'Shelly', a press reporter on Designated Survivor, Vanessa Burns is a Canadian actress who was born in Brampton, Ontario. After attending a high school for the performing arts where she majored in Drama, Vanessa went on to graduate from the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts in Toronto.
