Venus Monique started acting in college where she was cast as the lead in her first play. She continued staying active in the theater while completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.In late 2010, after a couple of years of juggling physical therapy and acting in Midland, TX, Venus moved to Austin with no job so that she could begin earnestly training for a career in film. After a few months of struggling, she landed a gig as a stand-in on the ABC Family show, The Lying Game. There, she learned the ins and outs of the industry and took that knowledge into the diverse projects on which she has been blessed to work.Venus has a passion for inspirational films, challenging roles, and letting God plan her steps.
