Yaiza Figueroa

Yaiza Figueroa is a young actress from Puerto Rico, trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She's has worked with BAFTA nominated director Janis Pugh in A Beautiful Death (2012) and her latest feature film The Befuddled Box of Betty Buttifint (2013). She plays a leading role in Grace (2012) and in The Showreel (2014) both directed by Keir Burrows, which have been official selections at the BAFTA Short Film Festival in London, Tribeca Film Festival in New York, Cannes Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival, Cambridge Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival. Her dedication has helped her achieve a very extent Curriculum Vitae, which includes the #1 Puerto Rican famous comedy sketch show 'Risas en Combo' and countless plays, produced in Puerto Rico, London and Spain.
