Baelfire is the son of Rumplestiltskin. His father became the Dark Lord and Bae didn't like how cruel he had become. He left the Enchanted Forest using a magic bean to open a portal to another world. He tried to get his father to join him and give up his magic, but Rumplestiltskin wouldn't follow.Once in the other world he became Neal Cassidy and he grew up without parents. He met Emma when she left the foster care system. They survived by stealing and conning people. Emma helped him retrieve some watches that he had stolen. When he went to sell the watches, he left Emma with one watch. He encountered August, who convinced him to leave Emma, even though he didn't want to. Neal gave August money and the keys to his car to give to Emma, he gave her the keys but kept the money. Emma was then arrested because of the stolen watch.While she was in prison, Emma gave birth to Henry, Neal's son, and gave him up for adoption. When Rumplestiltskin calls in the favor that Emma owes him, they (along with Henry) go to find Baelfire/Neal. Emma finds him and is shocked to find out that Baelfire is Neal. Emma tells Rumplestiltskin that she didn't find him, but Neal comes back to protect Emma from his father. He meets Henry and realizes that Henry is his son. Show less «
