No one knows his real name so he is known as either Brains or Professor Hackenbacker. He and his son, Fermat, are noticeably alike. Both stutter uncontrollably, are very nerdy, and even look alike. Brains designed and created all of the Thunderbirds' equipment with the help of Jeff Tracy. In the movie, it mentions that Transom has met Brains before in a nerd convention somewhere. It's apparent that either Brains doesn't remember and Transom creeps him out, or he does remember and Transom still creeps him out. Show less «
