She was thirsty, so she she got up out of bed, and went into the living room. It was there that she found the Grinch, disguised as Santa Claus, who was shoving the Christmas tree up the chimney.His disguise fooled her, and (believing he was Father Christmas) she asked him why he was taking the Christmas tree. The Grinch told her that there was a lightbulb on the tree that did not work, and that he was going to take it back to his workshop, fix it, and then bring it back there.
