Jason Stiles knew Lorelai from a childhood camp, which is where the earned the nickname Digger . He visits Richard in season 4, and asks to go into business with him. Richard agrees, and is happy because he will get revenge against Jason's father, who had forced Richard out of his company a couple years earlier.Jason and Lorelai meet again, and they soon begin dating. They keep their relationship hidden until one night when Jason's parents visit the Gilmores. Jason's father Floyd tell Richard that he is suing him because Jason had taken all of his clients when leaving his business. Jason also finds out that his father's private investigator has been tailing him, and that's how the Lorelai/Jason relationship is revealed.Floyd and Richard make a deal behind Jason's back, and Jason tells Lorelai that he is suing Richard. Lorelai breaks up with Jason, saying that she can't be with anyone that's suing her family. Jason returns in the season 4 finale to try and win her back, but by then Lorelai is about to pursue a relationship with Luke Danes. Sookie and Michel call his cellphone pretending to be someone else and tell him that his condo is on fire, so Jason leaves to see his home.Jason is never seen or heard from again. Show less «
