Khabarov is an actor that Janusz meet at the gulag. Its Khaborov idea of escaping that gave Janusz the will to continue. Although he seemed to want to escape at the start, he turns out to be always wanting to escape, but never does. Valka eventually kills him since he was going to tell the officers about the escaping plan.
