Maria
Maria is the Juliet equivilant in West Side Story. She falls in love with Tony, an American, which is practically forbidden by her Puerto Rican friends and families and the American gangs. She tries to get Tony to make peace between the two gangs, but as it turns out, Tony kills her older brother, which gets Tony shot.
