Mayor Lucy Rodell
Lucy Rodell is the mayor of Dillon, Texas. A devoted Dillon High School Panthers booster, she doesn't take kindly to Tami's surreptitious efforts to divert funds from a new Jumbotron scoreboard for the high school football to the library. Lucy plays for the other team, as Buddy Garrity puts it, but he has had a romantic history with her.
