SSgt Crapgame is a hustler kind of character. He's the Supply NCO that can get his hands on anything the Army has or doesn't have. He also fancies himself as a kind of pawn-broker for obtaining anything on the black market or selling it there. He's rather cynical and not very soldierly in the sense of the GI that slugs it out on the battlefront from Normandy to Germany, but more the comical type one would find on perhaps Gomer Pyle. He's looking for a get rich quick scheme to succeed and the bank heist behind German lines fits perfectly. This character is unique to this film which never had a follow up companion film or sequel.
