1945 [Sub: Eng]

A drama of a different kind we live through August 12, 1945, 11 am. That story began with two mysterious strangers wearing black clothes appearing at the railway station in a Hungarian village. These strangers appeared in that area, as the villagers prepared to attend the wedding of the writer's son. On the other hand, the former bride's fiancé returns from captivity, which may change things. Within a few hours, everything changes because of the sudden appearance of a man in everyone's life.

June 20, 2018 Set in a specific time and place, 1945 also resonates as a story of people doing terrible things to other people in the name of opportunity and getting ahead. It hits home at a time when the idea of loving thy neighbor feels sadly passé.
