The film revolves around Charles 'Chuck' Tatum, an unidentified reporter who decides to use the cave collapse event in Mexico. Charles tries to use this tragic event which attracts the attention of many people to become a great new opportunity. It's a bad side as the movie reveals the dark side of the human psyche in order to reach what they want.
