Audition (1999)

Following the death of his wife, Shidehara Aoyama, a Japanese widower, who driven by his grief for losing his wife, decides to stay alone and raise his son, who in order to convince his father to remarry, asks for help from his best friend who is a film producer to search for a woman to marry him, by convincing him to take part in a fake movie.
