In a comedy and dramatic atmosphere, this movie follows two former prisoners Eddie and Paul who are now on parole. They work together in a small restaurant in the middle of New York. When an English lawyer, Katherine Rookwood, sees them there, he offers them a special offer they can't refuse. They are about to change their whole life.
