Breathe In
Trailer
This story tells about an exciting drama and a love story that will never be repeated. The story begins with a man named Keith Reynolds, a high school music teacher married to Megan who lives in a small town an hour and a half away from New York City. Events change in this exciting story, where Keith abandoned his career as a musician after the arrival of their daughter Lauren. Over time, the family will host a student called Sophie, for one semester, where Sophie Keith reveals that she is a brilliant musician. Maybe Keith and Sophie are getting into a love relationship and spending their time talking about escaping together, and the story may take a completely different turn.

April 04, 2014 Buoyed by some nicely nuanced performances (especially by Pearce and Amy Ryan as his dream-dashing wife), Breathe In never quite rises above its predictable potboiler premise.

April 18, 2014 There's something flimsy and unformed at these characters' cores, something that no amount of jumpy close-ups, skittering sideways glances, and rainy music can make up for.
