Cant Hardly Wait

The story tells of a graduation ceremony at a high school that is very much like secondary-school movies in the 1980s. That story began during the 500 senior high school seniors who decided to have a party in high school, where the boy wanted to attend a girl who had been loved for years and separated from her boyfriend. Things may develop and turn out exactly where people start having sex, drinking, and in line with most school guidelines and maybe it will be even worse.

March 19, 2014 There are signs that Can't Hardly Wait once had more serious aspirations... But in the final edit, at least, it's the dumb, broad slapstick that prevails, short-circuiting identification with the characters before it can begin.

March 19, 2014 The majority of the film is mired in magazine cliches and tired gags. Oh, look, the foreign exchange student only knows how to say he's a sex machine, haw! And the nerd's getting drunk! Hoo!
