Daddy Day Camp
Trailer
Charlie and Phil take their kids to Camp Driftwood, a camp they attended as kids. Armed with no knowledge of the great outdoors, a dilapidated facility, and a motley group of campers, it doesn't take long before things get out of control.

March 18, 2011 Daddy Day Camp truly is a horrific mess. It's not really a movie for kids; it's a movie for kids by adults who don't have the slightest idea what makes a quality film for any audience ... puerile doesn't even begin to do it justice.

November 22, 2007 I can't think of a single kind word to say about this unfortunate family comedy which is unoriginal, predictable, schmaltzy and bland.

August 09, 2007 There's no point being highbrow about a film that relies on the typical fart-puke-nuts-kaboom brand of family comedy, but [director] Savage's lethargic, impersonal approach can't even make Camp's gross-out moments appropriately revolting.

August 09, 2007 Because he's an Oscar winner with a rep now for headlining turkeys, watching Cuba Gooding Jr. in trash like Daddy Day Camp almost hurts.

July 06, 2010 It all comes down to the "Olympiad," a battle of idiotic proportions between the two camps, and if you can't guess what happens next, this just may be the movie for you.

Chicago Reader
August 09, 2007 The juvenile actors come off as movie brats, and the pacing is slowed by treacly speeches about father-son bonding. As a child star on The Wonder Years, director Fred Savage worked with some of TV's best, but you'd never guess it from this.

July 22, 2008 While the actors in Daddy Day Camp may be different, the tired and predictable storyline full of jokes involving urinating, flatulence, burping, vomiting and crotch shots remains the same.
