The film tells of a bet between a wealthy and arrogant businessman and an institutional competitor with vital ideas and a different mind. The pair are betting on this man together by coexisting on the street penniless and unknown in the rugged streets of Los Angeles for 30 days. Things seem to be moving on a different path as this man proves to be stricter than he actually was.

July 14, 2004 The slapstick here is nothing to rent the film over. Oddly, it's the serious moments that charm. I was embarrassed to myself for being choked up by Mel Brooks.
